Cowan
is experienced in a comprehensive maintenance management and configuration
control system.
In overseas destinations Cowan trains and, at regular intervals, accredits local agents to carry out regular inspections and undertake maintenance tasks. Cowan’s Australian technicians remain on call and would normally carry out a full audit of the system (on the ground in the relevant country) annually. Cowan’s Australian technicians carry out the first round of the servicing contract. This provides an opportunity for the local technicians to be trained and accredited for their ongoing role. This will ensure that those carrying out the servicing are trained and accredited to a standard equivalent to that achieved by Cowan’s with its Defence Authority clients. |

Cowan provides comprehensive training package, incorporating leading training skills & extensive product experience. With significant instructor experience and as a current Royal Australian Navy training provider, Cowan is a training specialist in recompression chamber systems. A full training package including courseware for training in operations and maintenance of chamber systems is offered. Training courses involving up to ten individuals can be held at one time, conducted over five to seven days by a permanent Cowan instructor. This will suitably equip the client with the relevant maintenance and operations skills. On successful completion of the course, participants are certified as competent persons to carry out either operations and/or maintenance tasks.

Spare
parts are managed by Cowan’s stores system where items are rigorously
recorded and closely monitored.
Cowan’s accredited oxygen cleaning facility is a key component of
this process.
