The
standard Transfer Lock (TL) can accommodate 2 people (Modified
Transfer Lock - 5 people) and is capable
of an operating depth equivalent to 70 metres while supporting
both occupants on oxygen and air for an unlimited period
(most dive tables are to a maximum of 6 hours). |

On deck applications: - to enhance manoeuvrability, and provide flexibility in lifting arrangements, the Cowan TRCS (TRC & TL) is designed with purpose built skids and removable wheels. For on-deck applications Cowan has developed a stainless steel mating frame that can be bolted to the deck. This mating frame holds the TRC and TL during sea motion and will guide the TRC and TL as they disconnect or connect. This facility is used extensively by the Australian Navy. |
