Cowan has extensive experience in the design and manufacture of Twin Lock Chambers. These consist of stationary & portable chambers each with an inner & outer lock.

Twin Lock Chambers have been designed and manufactured to Milspec requirements for the US, Thailand, Philippines and Australian Navies. Other applications include commercial diving and, search and rescue (including police rescue).

	US Navy 54" SNDL Chamber
		This highly sophisticated ASME certified stainless steel chamber is designed to be, as an option, containerised. Released in 2001 it has built in redundancy with all gas systems and full air conditioning (heating & cooling). 	Search & Rescue Chambers
		These chambers are used by Defence, other special services such as police diving, and commercial divers. The Cowan Standard 1500 Twin Lock Recompression Chamber provides excellent value for money. Manufactured from carbon steel, with a standard 6 or 8 person capacity, it has the potential for a wide range of applications. With a chamber diameter of 1500mm a very adequate and spacious environment is achieved. 	Minehunter Chamber
		The Cowan Minehunter Twin Lock Recompression Chamber has been supplied to the Australian and Thailand Navies. These Chambers support routine Mine Counter Measure diving operations conducted from the vessel as well as emergency treatment of decompression illness. 	Victorian Police (Minehunter Style) Chamber
		The Cowan Minehunter Twin Lock Recompression Chamber has been modified to suit the needs of the Victorian Police. The chamber features an onboard pneumatic lifting system for installation/removal of wheels. This chamber supports police diving operations conducted from the vessel as well as emergency treatment of decompression illness.
	Commercial Chamber
		Cowan responds to a wide range of requirements for the Commercial Diving industry. These chambers often do not have the dual gas systems (redundancy) and NATO connection capacity seen on Defence related chambers. However, they result from many of Cowan's Defence chamber designs and benefit from its design philosophy of simplicity in design and operation.
	LED Lights
	This new LED light system has been designed to be installed on existing Cowan Recompression Chambers. It features two stage illumination and a low external profile.
